A Dignified and Viable Human Society
The influence of humans on this planet has risen to such a level that it forced the definition of a new geological epoch: the Anthropocene. The Anthropocene spells an unknown future for humans due to a storm of critical challenges. Estimates of the collapse of the stable Holocene Earth systems – and with that of human society as we know it – are of the order of about 30 to 50 years. As an expression of this emergency, the United Nations has defined its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that reflect the fundamental challenges to the physical, biological, psychological, social and cultural systems that have maintained humanity so far. .
Sapiens5.0 departs from other approaches by considering homo sapiens as the central challenge to the realization of a Dignified and Viable Human Society
Human-Artificial General Intelligence collaboration for Good
The main scientific and technological objective of Sapiens 5.0 is the creation of a comprehensive Technology for Humanitarian Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) supporting a Dignified and Viable Society which ultimately has game-changing and critical impacts on economics and society.
S5.0 predicts that the underlying principles of these future AGI systems will be domain neutral. This implies that the integrated AGI S5.0 targets will be of generic value across domains including those identified by business analysis firms but also for assisting humans in addressing and resolving the fundamental challenges of the Anthropocene.
